Former England left-arm spinner Monty Panesar feels that the result of the upcoming India-England Test series could well depend upon how the English batsmen negotiate off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. The Indian slow bowler has an exceptional record at home, and will be key to India’s fortunes when the series kicks-off in Chennai on February 5. He also had a memorable Test series in Australia. Speaking to Times of India, Panesar said that that Ashwin will go into the series against England high on confidence.

The itinerary for England’s upcoming tour of India has been announced. England will tour India for a full series with four Tests, three ODIs and five T20Is to be held in February-March 2021.
