Cricket News sort by Zimbabwe Twenty20 Triangular Series 2012

Off Spinner Johan Botha has been ruled out of this month’s unofficial T20 Tri Series in Zimbabwe because of a knee injury sustained during the IPL.

Once regarded as a precious batting talent, Mohammad Ashraful has failed to even keep a place in the Bangladeshi national team. Ashraful was expected to be the big hope of Bangladesh batting but sadly his talent has been wasted only because of his indiscreet shot selection.

Off Spinner Johan Botha will be leading a 15-man South Africa Squad to take part in the upcoming Zimbabwe Triangular Twenty20 Series. The South African Board has decided to rest AB de Villiers, Jacques Kallis, Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel. All the four senior players had a hectic run in the recently concluded Indian Premier League.

African minnows Zimbabwe will be hosting a short Triangular Series next month. It is going to be a rare Twenty20 Triangular Tournament featuring the hosts along with South Africa and Bangladesh. The tri-series will consist of six matches and a final with each side playing the other twice in the league stage.
