India skipper Virat Kohli was all praise for the West Indies bowlers after the visitors were shocked by 11 runs in the fourth one-day international at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium on Sunday.

"Credit to the West Indies bowlers, they created those dot balls that induced those mistakes. We faltered with the bat and that can happen in this game. We just have to put this behind us and come back fresh for the next game," Virat Kohli told the media after the match.

Batting first, West Indies only managed 189, but then restricted India to 178 runs. West Indies skipper Jason Holder starred for his side with a five-wicket haul. Kohli said it was the batsmen that let them down.

"We bowled really well to restrict them to 189. Our shot selection wasn't up to the mark, losing crucial wickets at crucial stages. You've got to keep up the momentum through the game,” the Indian skipper admitted.

Ajinkya Rahane came up with his fourth consecutive 50 plus score, but apart from an excruciatingly slow innings from MS Dhoni, no one else made a contribution.
