Former Australia batsman Mike Hussey has come in praise of Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni for his amazing performance with the bat and behind the stumps in the Indian Premier League 2018.
Dhoni has 360 from 10 innings at an average of 90 and strike rate at 166. Speaking about Dhoni’s skills behind the stumps, Hussey was quoted as saying in an NDTV report, "My observations are he's got to be the fastest in the world against the spinners in taking the bails off. He's unbelievably quick.”
Dhoni effected quick stumpings of AB de Villiers and Murugan Ashwin against RCB, off Harbhajan Singh. He also made 31 off 23 balls, with three sixes off Yuzvendra Chahal to finish off the game.
"He's such an important player for the team. He's a fantastic keeper, has been in unbelievably good form with the bat, probably the best I've seen him play for quite a few years," Hussey went on to add.
