Preview:Delhi were at the receiving end of a rain marred fixture against the Rajasthan and there was little doubt about the fact that a full game would have probably seen them with points on the board. The bowling came good once again for Delhi as Boult led the way, while Shahbaz Nadeem did a terrific job, replacing the off-color Mishra. Mohammed Shami too had a decent outing and for once did not go for plenty of runs!

Munro might need some luck going his way in this fixture as he desperately needs to establish himself at the top of the order. One won’t be surprised if Mumbai skipper Rohit hands over the ball to Mayank Markrande to cause some early problems for the Delhi batsmen. Maxwell’s return was characterized by plenty of wild swings with very little returns and he will be hoping to connect bat with ball for starters!

Mumbai will be hoping to have Hardik Pandya fit for this encounter as his ankle injury forced them to alter combinations. Ben Cutting, who came in as a like-for-like replacement, failed to impress with both bat and ball while Pradeep Sangwan too failed to make an impression.

Mumbai need to be mindful of not making the same mistake of playing too many shots, as they did in their last game and they will need a contribution from Rohit to set the ball rolling for them. With scores of 11 and 15, he too would be looking forward to making his presence felt in the middle.

Match Stats:

At 20 years and 152 days, Mayank Markrande became the third youngest to take a four-wicket haul in IPL history. Pawan Negi (19y 116d) and Mitchell Marsh (19y and 202d) are the two youngest.

This game is all set to be Glenn Maxwell’s 199th T20. He is also one short of 100 catches!
