The Group B Match between Mumbai Indians and Yorkshire was abandoned due to rain at Newlands in Cape Town. Both the teams desperately looking for a win ended up sharing two points each.

Mumbai Indians asked to bat first were doing extremely well at 156 for 6 in 17.5 overs when rain had the last laugh after a couple of interruptions. West Indians – Dwayne Smith with 37 (from 26 balls with 4 fours) and Kieron Pollard with 37* (from 20 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes) provided the fireworks for the spectators.

Toss and Teams: Yorkshire have won the toss and asked Mumbai Indians to bat first in the Group B Match at Newlands in Cape Town. Both the sides go into the match after suffering a defeat. Mumbai Indians have retained the same team. Yorkshire too have retained the same XI.
