Rajasthan registered an impressive seven-wicket triumph over Hyderabad on Saturday at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. England batsman Liam Livingston slammed 44 from 26 for Rajasthan while Sanju Samson made an unbeaten 48 from 32 balls as the hosts chased down 161.

Following the victory, Rajasthan reached the sixth spot in the points with 5 wins from 12 matches. Still, Rajasthan needs to win both they are remaining away games against Bangalore and Delhi to stay in contention. Captain Steve Smith said they need to continue the winning momentum.

"We need to continue winning and you never know," Steve Smith said at the post-match presentation ceremony. After a poor start, the Rajasthan have really come back well. And Smith praised the boys for putting up a good effort. "It was a good end to our home season, the boys pulled things back nicely," Smith said.

"Playing together as a group and we're winning those key moments. We have been fortunate in the last few games," Smith added.

Livingstone and Ajinkya Rahane added 78 for the opening wicket to get the team off to a brilliant start. "Liam Livingstone was magnificent as he played with freedom and got us off to a good start. Samson finished things off nicely," Smith further said.

The match against Bangalore would be his last this season before he joins Australia for the 2019 World Cup preparations. "I have got one more to play in Bangalore, it'll be nice to finish on a winning note. Hopefully, the boys will play well in Bangalore as well," Smith went on to say.
