England have announced a 14-man squad on Monday to face Australia in the 5-ODI NatWest Series starting on the 29th of this month.

The 14-man squad is the same squad that featured in the first two ODIs against West Indies. England had defeated West Indies 2-0 in the 3-ODI Series with the third ODI at Leeds washed out.

The hosts had rested Stuart Broad, Graeme Swann and Tim Bresnan for the final ODI against West Indies. The three players now return to the England Squad for the Australian Series.

National Selector Geoff Miller has been quoted in the ECB website saying: “The series win against West Indies was pleasing and we are making steady progress in one-day cricket with a sixth straight series victory on home soil.

“Australia are a strong one-day side and I've no doubt this will be a challenging NatWest Series for us and we will need to play some very good cricket over the next three weeks.

“Playing against the number-one ranked one-day side in the world is an excellent test for us as we look to keep steadily improving ahead of next summer's ICC Champions Trophy and the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup.”
