Mohammad Hafeez top-scored with 25, while AlokKapali took two wickets for 12 runs and Shakib Al Hasan claimed 2-24 for Bangladesh after the visitors had won the toss and opted to bat first.

Shakib removed both openers, bowling Mohammad Hafeez for 25 and having ImranFarhat caught by MushfiqurRahim for 16.

UmarAkmal was stumped for 20 by Rahim off a delivery from Kapali, who also had ShahidAfridi caught by NasirHossain on 8. AbdurRazzak caught and bowled ShoaibMalik for 2 and SohailTanvir was run out for 6. AsadShafiq was caught by Razzak off NasirHossain for 19.

The two unbeaten batsmen were Misbah-ul-Haq on 21 and UmarGul on 4.

Pakistan have beaten Bangladesh in all four previous Twenty20s.

The hosts excluded opener TamimIqbal, who missed training for two days because of a knee injury, and added allrounderFarhad Reza.

Pakistan picked the same side from the series last month against Sri Lanka in the United Arab Emirates.

The teams will play three one-day internationals from December 1.
