Morne Morkel captured 5 for 54 and Johan Botha took 3 for 61 as Pakistan collapsed to 248 all out on Day 3 of the first Test at Dubai. Pakistan have thus conceded a significant lead of 132 runs which has been converted to 271 with SA ending the day's play at 139 for 2 in 48 overs in their second essay.

Pakistan had started Day 3 at 144 for 2 lost their last 8 wickets with the addition of just the 104 runs before getting bowled out before Tea. By the close of play, SA have Hashim Amla batting nicely on an unbeaten 44 and Kallis is on an unbeaten 32.
