Toss: Sri Lanka, who chose to field first
First ODI was washed out due to the rain and many people around the globe are concerend due to the fact that this is the rainy season in Lanka and it might well be possible that some of the games in the 2011 World Cup might suffere due to bad weather. ALthough West Indies had a full oppertunity to bat and they made 245 in their 50 overs with opner AB Barath scoring a great knock of a hundred making 113. Sri Lanka could not bat due to the fact that it started raining. Now both teams will move to the other stadu for the 2nd ODI.
