The Dr. DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai will host the 5th game of the fourth edition of the Indian Premier League on April 10 between Kings XI Punjab and Pune Warriors. This is the first game for the both the sides and they will look to start off the tournament with a win.
Pune have never played in the Indian Premier League before and this is their first edition of the tournament. They have chosen a good looking team on paper, that will be led by Yuvraj Singh and will have the likes of Manish Pandey and Robin Uthappa.
Interestingly, Yuvraj Singh had earlier led Punjab in the first two years of the IPL but was later sacked. He lost his form in the third edition and was the butt of all the jokes and will look to turn the tables on his former side after not being retained in the tournament.
Punjab, on the other hand, let go of all their players and got in Adam Gilchrist to the side. Gilly will lead the team whereas there will be the presence of Shaun Marsh and Praveen Kumar as the two experienced players in the squad.
