The Lions Vs Perth Scorchers match at Ahmedabad has been called off an hour after the scheduled start of time. Although the rain has eased, the outfield has been completely drenched with lots of puddles all around. The rain may have eased from a storm but is still quite steady to do continue its damage on the outfield for the second game here.
Rain Update at 4:00 PM IST: Heavy rain at Ahmedabad is threatening to abandon the Group A Match of CLT20 2013 between Lions and Perth Scorchers. It is raining cats and dogs at the scheduled start of the match and as a result the outfield has been battered with plenty of water. Unfortunately, there is another match between Otago and Mumbai Indians which is scheduled to start at 8:00 PM at this same venue this evening.
Toss and Teams: There was time for the toss to take place before the rain had arrived with Lions winning it and asking Perth to bat first.
