ManpritJuneja is quite an unheard name in the cricketing world. But this 21-year-old has made a mark in history by becoming only the fourth Indian to score a double century on first class debut - a record that even a SachinTendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar or RahulDravid do not possess! The 21-year-old right hander achieved this rare feat in the recently held Ranji Trophy Elite Match between Gujarat and Tamil Nadu at the Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Prior to Juneja's feat, the three other Indians to score a double century on first class debut are GundappaViswanath, AmolMuzumdar and AnshumanPandey, Out of these three names, only GundappaViswanath has gone onto play for the country and had become one of the great batsmen for India, Muzumdar who had an early start to his first class career played for many years for Mumbai but couldn't push onto the next level. The third player AnshumanPandey had a very tiny career with Madhya Pradesh in the mid 90s.
