Former India Skipper Sourav Ganguly came good scoring 60 from 120 balls with 9 fours before retiring hurt due to cramps. No.6 Anustup Majumdar remained unbeaten on a well made 71 from 152 balls with 10 fours.

Majumdar is in a solid 5th wicket stand with India discard Laxmi Ratan Shukla who is batting on 37. Left arm medium pacer Gagandeep Singh took three wickets for the hosts. Earlier in the morning, Baroda were bowled out for 284 without a single run scored by the last wicket pair.
