Australia could get only 61 overs of batting on Day 2 of their tour match against Somerset at Taunton. The tourists made most of it scoring 266 for 4. Shane Watson, who will open the innings for the Aussies in the Ashes, sizzled with a strokeful 90 from 94 balls with as many as 20 fours.

Skipper Michael Clarke who is testing the fitness of his back looked quite comfortable in his 110-minute stay in the middle while scoring 45 from 95 balls with 7 fours. Before the showers had arrived at Taunton, Phil Hughes helped himself to 44* while Wicket Keeper Brad Haddin scored 38*.
