Basnahira, Ruhuna, Kandurata and Wayamba secured their places in the semifinals of the Sri Lanka Cricket Inter-Provincial T20 tournament which is in progress.
The first semifinal is scheduled to be played between Basnahira and Wayamba at the R. Premadasa ICS at 10.30 a.m. on Saturday (30).
Ruhuna will meet Kandurata at 2.30 p.m. in the second semifinal on the same day.
The winners will advance to the final which is scheduled for Sunday (31) at 2.30 p.m. at R. Premadasa ICS in Colombo.
In the final stages of the first round Basnahira beat Ruhuna by 34 runs while Combined XI recorded their first win of the tournament, against Wayamba by 7 wickets.
However Combined XI placed at bottom of the points tables failed to reach the semifinal stage.
