Hales (MOM): It was disappointing not to get the 100. We batted well, all the guys chipped in especially Lumb and Wright and the bowlers bowled really well. Lumb has been a positive partner, takes the pressure of me. 'Still lot of hard work to do', when asked whether he wants to play ODI cricket. Broad: The guys adpated to the conditions really well after being sent in to bat. Lumb and Hales got us off to a good start. We did not require Butler at the end with the start we got. Dernbach has bowled well in both the matches he kept getting wickets at crucial times. We still need to improve our skills with the ball. It has been a fun summer and has been special. Bailey: We lost a couple of early wickets and went downhill from there. It looked a good pitch and Lumb and Hales went well at the start. Fawad was good for us and he used the conditions really well, and he took up the challenge of bowling the last over as well. Lot of positives to take for us, the way Faulkner is improving with each game and Hazlewood and Coulter-Nile getting a game under their belts before the ODI series. |
